Drawing inspiration from historical art movements, color, interiors, and surrealism, her practice intertwines the personal and the political—exploring motherhood, love, climate change, colonial legacies, and the impact of human activity on the natural world. Through her tactile, story-laden textiles, she blurs the boundary between craft traditions and contemporary art. Dennigan has been selected to exhibit at the prestigious Collect Art Fair in Somerset House, London in February 2026 as part of Collect Open. She will present three new artworks exploring the emotional complexities of pregnancy and miscarriage. Alongside her textile practice, Dennigan is active in the design field, collaborating with wood sculptors, metal workers, and other artists to create sculptural lighting and object-based works. One of these collaborative sculptural lamps was presented at Lisbon Design Week 2025, marking a growing strand of interdisciplinary design within her practice, with an expanded range of products planned for 2026. 2026 will also see the fulfilment of two private commissions to create textile design objects for residential properties Melides, Portugal and Lake Como, Italy. Dennigan’s work is commissioned by private collectors and commercial institutions around the world.
