Azure emerges from a blend of organic fabric, acrylic paint, and embroidery, serving as a meditative outlet for the artist

Bhya Sugai is a Brazilian artist and designer, hailing from the modernist hub of Brasília. After stints in Florianópolis and creative ventures in Rio de Janeiro, she found her artistic home in Lisbon, where the concept of Azure took shape.

Armed with a Graphic Design degree from PUC-Rio and a master’s in Design Management from IADE – European University, Bhya channels her passion for self-expression through tactile artistry.

Azure emerges from a blend of organic fabric, acrylic paint, and embroidery, serving as a meditative outlet for the artist. Each stroke and stitch reflects a moment of introspection, infused with a deep sense of peace that resonates freedom, intuition, joy, integrity, and love.

In custom projects, Bhya employs a personalized approach, identifying the client's desires for inner peace. This sets the stage for a transformative creative journey, resulting in bespoke artworks tailored to evoke profound emotions.

Azure currently unveils two series: "Spring," drawing from the delicate beauty of the season and the prominence of blue in Portuguese culture, and "Heaven and Earth," which delves into the interplay between transcendental and earthly realms, exploring materials like concrete and earthy tones to visually and conceptually bridge the gap.
