Her ceramic practice merges a passion for materiality and texture with a deep fascination for the historical legacy of ceramics.

Clotilde de Kersauson has been exploring ceramics since her arrival in Lisbon in 2019. Originally a textile designer, she co-founded Studio Mirante in 2021, a space for creation and curation shared with her friend Margaux Carel.

Her ceramic practice merges a passion for materiality and texture with a deep fascination for the historical legacy of ceramics. Inspired by ancient civilizations - from Egyptian symbolism to Roman architecture - her work reinterprets classical forms for contemporary interiors.

At Lisbon by Design, Clotilde presents a series of large-scale, hand-built vessels, where tradition and modernity converge in sculptural, tactile expressions of time and history.
