Filipe Condado initially established his artistic foundation in photography. Yet, in recent years, his focus has shifted toward the mirror : a compelling, hybrid object that sits precisely on the border between a photographic surface and the sheer reflection of light and form. This dedication to refining the medium has culminated in the creation of precisely cut, modular mirrors. These solid objects function as dynamic tools, capable of generating diverse and intentional compositions of light and reflection. Through this work, Filipe Condado offers a curated possibility: the ability to select the images and reflections of the world one chooses to inhabit.
