As an industrial designer, Joana Teixeira realized early on that her path would be to express emotions through objects. She began her career in jewelry, attracted by detail and material expressiveness, later expanding her practice to industrial design.

Working between craftsmanship and contemporary production, she creates furniture and objects where structure meets manual gesture, favoring small editions and materials that invite lasting relationships. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at Milan Design Week, Lake Como Design Festival, Dutch Design Week, Paris Art Week, Lisbon Design Week, and 3daysofdesign. Finalist of Architectural Digest Creators, as one of the new names in European collectible design. Finalist of The Young Design Generation at Lisbon Design Week. At the invitation of Métaphores, a sister company of Hermès, she carried out and presented a collaboration with the brand, presented at Paris Art Week. Currently represented by several international galleries. She creates a close relationship between object and user, combining the creative process with production, material, form, and purpose. Aesthetically, she seeks to harmonize the senses, based on attention to detail, sobriety, subtlety, and longevity. Obsessed with emotions and extremely sensitive, she seeks to convey through her pieces the restlessness with which she observes the world, drawing inspiration and absorbing its chaotic beauty.
