Largely self-taught, Kylie Marie's practice has evolved through hands-on experimentation, community exchange and close collaboration with local makers, alongside a formative period at Fundação Ricardo Espírito Santo. Her work explores furniture and objects through form, rounded geometries and material investigation. Moving between function and expression, Kylie engages with colour, texture, movement and proportion as integral elements of each piece. As an emerging practitioner, she creates custom furniture and functional objects that balance use, presence and process, working at the intersection of craft, design and sculptural practice.
