Studio Ēeme is a ceramic and design studio based near Lisbon, Portugal, founded by Marie-Laure Davy. Specializing in lighting and wall sculptures, the studio explores themes of fertility, movement, and tenderness, with its creative process deeply rooted in meditation, writing, and dance.
Marie-Laure Davy’s background spans over a decade of dance and model drawing, alongside a career in advertising in New York. After studying ceramics at Arco in Portugal, she established Studio Ēeme in 2022 as a space where intuitive gestures shape clay into soft, organic forms. Each piece emerges from a deeply personal process, in which physical and spiritual routines serve as a gestation period for creation.
Studio Ēeme's work embodies a poetic balance between material and emotion, infusing each sculptural piece with a quiet yet expressive presence.
