Founded by Caio Superchi, a Brazilian artist and craftsman, Superchi Studio explores the intersection of function, form, and transformation through wood and light. Based in Lisbon, the studio creates sculptural pieces that reinterpret traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility.
Superchi’s approach is rooted in a deep respect for materials - especially repurposed wood - and a desire to challenge their potential through thoughtful design. Influenced by his upbringing in Rio de Janeiro and his background in woodworking, each piece is an intuitive dialogue between memory, material, and purpose.
Since its founding, Superchi Studio has exhibited work in several shows across Latin America and Europe, sharing a practice that is both personal and universal: a meditation on what objects are, and what they could become.
